Power, control, and “invincibility” are the core features of the new Typhon active loudspeakers.

Typhon-AX12 is a 12” 2-way 720W continuous active loudspeaker with aptX Bluetooth enabled. Its advanced internal amplifiers deliver over 140% more power than the Titan-AX12.

It features two separate Class D power amps (600W continuous for LF and 120W continuous for HF), delivering massive output power while keeping the overall weight low. Bi-amplification ensures each amplifier is perfectly matched to its driver, resulting in clearer highs and deeper lows.

Thanks to efficient amplifier stages, Typhon uses convection cooling without the need for an internal fan—ensuring quiet, reliable operation.

The Typhon-AX12-BT also comes with aptX Bluetooth input connectivity and stereo linking. Setup with mobile devices is quick and cable-free. Just pair your smartphone or laptop with the Typhon-AX12-BT for high-quality aptX streaming.

Custom Wharfedale Pro transducers enhance performance, with a large 1.75” voice coil compression driver and a 100° x 80° waveguide for smooth HF dispersion. The durable polypropylene cabinet with a full frontal steel grille makes this one of the most advanced active loudspeakers ever created by Wharfedale Pro.
