Using the same electronics as the Typhon-AX12, the new 8” Typhon-AX8 delivers huge power from a compact and durable plastic cabinet. With bi-amplified power, it provides 720W continuous output (1440W peak) — unprecedented in such a small loudspeaker. A 4-position DSP allows you to adjust the timbre to your taste.

The built-in Bluetooth connection features TWS stereo link mode, enabling a fully wireless high-powered stereo setup to cover your audience.

Just like the 12” Typhon models, the new 8” version uses custom Wharfedale Pro drivers. The acclaimed IRIS X HF compression driver includes a 1.75” voice coil, while the LF driver features a 2.5” flat coil winding for enhanced cooling. The cone material is moisture-rejecting, making the Typhon-AX8 suitable for extreme conditions.
